Introduction

The History of PlayStation has had some ups and downs in the gaming industry, Millions of people around the world owned or had a PlayStation device once in their life, many people find enjoyment in playing with a PlayStation console and have made it their hobbies for years ever since the 1990’s. In the 1990’s the word PlayStation was the brainchild of a man that lived in Japan named Ken Kutaragi him and another man named Shigeo Maruyama he was the CEO of Sony Music entertainment both worked closely to form the company that is now know as Sony Interactive Entertainment at the time Ken Kutaragi was a Sony executive and he was later named “The Father of the PlayStation” However in march 1991 Sony Interactive entertainment were still in partnership with the company Nintendo and around in this time Nintendo and Sony were getting into building a gaming console named The Super NES which a had a built in CD-ROM drive but before its release Nintendo announced that they wanted to break there partnership with Sony after they got into a disagreement on how they would they would split their revenue streams this then made the president of Sony at the time Norio Ohga very furious he then responded to task Ken Kutagari with the responsibility on creating the first PlayStation console to rival Nintendo on their console that will be released soon. But Before the release of the first home console PlayStation needed a logo to go with the console Mr. Manabu Sakamoto he went with the PS Icon and classic colors red, green, yellow and blue soon after that the first home video game console from Sony Named PlayStation was released in Japan in holiday season December 1994.Many more PlayStation models and handheld systems will come right after and with commercial marketing Sony has made with the last 20 years of PlayStation making around 5.86 Billion dollars in the video game industry worldwide with Iconic flagship game tiles.

Self-Reflection

With the technical description I learned to do a lot on the research aspect on looking up different articles and picking and choosing the topics that I love using. It was also Interesting on searching the different components of the PlayStation 5 console. If I get to do a technical description again, I will use the skills that I gained on searching up different blueprints in different kinds of websites instead of focusing on one or two pages for research. The objectives that this assignment address are the attention to detail and if my paper is informing the reader or I am just telling them useless information.
